“Firms that wire up their workers with BlackBerry devices and other equipment that provides always-on connectivity with the office may wind up with liability for encouraging addiction among staff, US researchers warned today. “The South Korean electronics manufacturer Samsung has recently announced the launch for 2007 of the largest liquid crystal display screen (LCD) in the world, with a diagonal of 70 inches (1.78 meters). Until now, the record in this area was detained by Sharp’s LCD, which has a diagonal reaching 65 inches (1.65 meters).The new device will be unveiled at the International Meeting on Information Displays (IMID) 2006, in Daegu, Korea.
