100Mbps Canadian cable broadband

“We’ve been seeing a growing number of pre-cert 50-100Mbps cable solutions deployed in various markets such as the UK and South Korea. ARRIS, Motorola and Cisco are all pitching pre-standard products (with the focus on wideband channel bonding). Canadian cable provider Videotron announced today that the company would be offering 100Mbps cable broadband service, using Cisco’s pre-DOCSIS 3.0 wideband solution. Note the press release says they’re still testing the service, and it may see commercial launch in 2007…” (Read full article here)
