Microsoft: 20 million Vista licenses sold in first month

“Microsoft said it sold 20 million licenses of the Windows Vista operating system in its first month of wide availability, topping some analysts’ estimates. The sales pace is more than double that of the previous Windows XP program, which sold more than 17 million copies in its first two months, said Bill Mannion, a director of Windows product management. Roger Kay, president of Endpoint Technologies Associates, had anticipated Microsoft would sell fewer than 10 million copies for the entire first quarter…” (Read full article here)
